Does Toyota’s $1 billion “sticky gas pedal” class-action lawsuit have you questioning the quality of your car?

It is not just Toyota, Honda recently recalled over 800,000 vehicles with an issue that could cause them to slip out of park and roll away. Ford recently recalled over 89,000 Escapes and Fusions due to the danger of their engines overheating and catching fire. GM and Isuzu recalled 258,000 SUVs due to power-window and door-lock switches that were causing fires. Even luxury auto maker BMW recalled many vehicles for faulty door latches.

However, not all issues being brought to the attention of automakers are  dangerous, some are just simply frustrating and costly.  For instance, the class action lawsuit recently filed against Kia and Hyundai for falsely inflating mileage.

If you have been injured as a result of automaker negligence or if you would like to find out if your Kia or Hyundai qualifies for the “false mpg” class action please call my office, The Law Office of Todd M. Friedman  at (877) 449-8898.

Various attributes like zip code, device type, or browsing history that impact pricing could lead to violation of consumer protection and civil rights protections. Investigations by multiple agencies signal a move towards a stronger stance against such practices.
