Ice Cream Recalled Due To Salmonella Scare

Categories:

Albertsons supermarkets are conducting a voluntary recall of “Peanut Butter Cup” and “Peanut Butter Chocolate” flavored ice cream as a precautionary measure due to fears of salmonella contamination.

The recalled ice cream was sold at Albertsons stores in California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, and Washington.   The ice cream is printed with one of two plant codes: either 49-11 or 06-20 and has a “BEST BY” date ranging from 3/26/2011 to 9/25/2013.

Consumers who have purchased this product should not consume it. They should discard it or return it to Albertsons for a full refund or exchange.

If you have suffered a personal injury from the negligence of a manufacturer please give my office, The Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman a call today at (877) 449-8898.
