Pamela Maxwell has filed a personal injury lawsuit against Greyhound Bus Lines, Inc., Maximino Arellano and Rudolph Mazin Jr. following a collision allegedly caused by one of its bus drivers. (Case No. B194-202)
According to their website, Greyhound Lines is the largest provider of intercity bus transportation, serving more than 3,800 destinations with 13,000 daily departures across North
America.
According to the lawsuit, Maxwell was traveling on a Greyhound bus when the driver, Rudolph Mazin, collided with a truck.
The collision caused a metal seatbelt dangling from the overhead compartment to thrash around and hit Maxwell in the head, causing her an injury.
The suit alleges Greyhound is liable for Mazin’s negligence, which included failing to yield the right of way, secure objects during transport and keep a proper lookout.
